March 19, 2010: As you may be aware, Amber Dust has recently been working on an original score to The Moon Under Glass, a film directed by our friend Jeremy Collins of Ellipsis Entertainment. We are pleased to announce that this music is now available for free download on the discography page.
Keep in mind this is not simply a collection of songs, but of instrumental music without the additional context of the movie. We understand that listening to a film score without the ability to make sense of it in reference to the film may be difficult. That said, there are a few instrumental pieces featured that we really enjoy and we hope you do as well. Also, in addition to Jesse and Shayne, this collection features the songwriting and additional piano/keyboard performance by long time friend Mike Palmer. Mike joined with Amber Dust for the writing and recording of this project and we were thrilled to have him on board.
The next full-length Amber Dust album is getting the last few finishing touches at the moment. After the album has been through the mixing/mastering process, we will make the necessary efforts to promote/prepare for it, and at that point we can provide more solid news on the subject. As of right now though, it is shaping up very well and we're hoping for a summer/fall 2010 release at this point. We'll see how it goes.
